By signing below, I confirm that I hold a valid driver's licence and am authorized to operate a motor vehicle. I agree to test drive the vehicle described above accompanied by, or with the permission of, Astro Auto staff.
I understand and agree that I am fully responsible for any traffic violations, tickets, and fines incurred during this test drive, and for any damage or loss to the vehicle that occurs while it is in my care during the test drive, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Assumption of risk. I understand that operating a motor vehicle carries inherent risks, including the risk of collision, property damage, personal injury, and death, and I voluntarily assume all such risks in connection with this test drive.
Release of liability. To the fullest extent permitted by the laws of the Province of Alberta, including the Occupiers' Liability Act, RSA 2000, c O-2, I release, waive, and forever discharge Astro Auto, its owners, officers, employees, agents, and affiliates ("Astro Auto") from any and all claims, demands, or causes of action for property damage, bodily injury, or death arising out of or in connection with this test drive, however caused, including by the negligence of Astro Auto, except to the extent caused by the gross negligence or wilful misconduct of Astro Auto.
Indemnification. I agree to indemnify and hold Astro Auto harmless from any loss, liability, damage, or cost, including legal fees, arising from my operation of the vehicle during this test drive, except to the extent caused by the gross negligence or wilful misconduct of Astro Auto.
Nothing in this waiver excludes or limits any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law. This waiver is governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada applicable in Alberta.
